Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, popularly known as Mahatma Gandhi, is the most admired, honored, and respected human being that ever lived. Not only can his visage be found on all rupee currency notes circulating in India since 1996,


Several admired, honored and respected human beings come to mind that I would like to write about but it's difficult to choose between Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King and various other people who've contributed to the Good and betterment of the people they found their selves ad mist

Also the most respected are respected because they love the people and go extra mile for their sake.the most respected people in the world is as follows
America's first black president – who only moved into the White House last month – beat former South African premier Nelson Mandela to claim the title.

Mandela, who campaigned tirelessly against apartheid, served 26 years in jail for his beliefs before he was released in 1990. He won the Nobel Peace Prize three years later.

"Most of the celebrities listed have earned their right to be called 'celebrities', as they are famous for working incredibly hard at their chosen profession.

"We are pleased Jade has come so highly. Her plight is a truly awful one but she has won the admiration of so many people for the way she is coping with it."

Author J K Rowling – famed for writing the Harry Potter series which earns her around £160 million a year, was sixth.

Television presenter Phillip Schofield, multi-millionaire Apprentice host Sir Alan Sugar actress Dame Judi Dench and Sir Michael Parkinson completed the top ten.

Dame Helen Mirren, who starred in The Queen, claimed 11th place – beating the real Queen.

The rest of the top twenty includes Angelina Jolie, Sir Elton John, Kylie, Margaret Thatcher, Lorraine Kelly and Stephen Fry.
